We redesigned the Standard Chartered Central Branch Bank in Hong Kong to create the future of banking experience. Our goal was to redefine banking to get Standard Charter’s premiere clientele into the bank longer with a more comfortable environment to make deals. We did a complete renovation from modern interior design elements to designer scents and Godiva chocolates, to fintech innovation technology such as interactive multi-touch banker tables, a mobile application, digital signage, and multi-screen video walls. We maximized branding through the external facade to a prominent shopfront design. We set out to uplift the customer experience by engaging the 5 senses of sight, touch, sound, smell and taste. Decorations, props, art, music and plant life were all incorporated as the team focused attention on every detail. The result is the merger of the physical with the digital in a high-class ultra lounge environment, where clients want to spend more time in the bank, spend more money and sign-up for more services.
